Preschool Teacher Assistant 

Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Part -Time, with the ability of becoming Full-Time

About the Role:
We’re seeking a caring, enthusiastic  Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children. As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you’ll guide your classroom with creativity and structure, ensuring a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute age-appropriate, hands-on learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that fosters exploration and creativity.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members to create a collaborative community.
• Observe and document children’s progress, providing regular feedback to families.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required (willingness to be trained), Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
